Fiber Optic Spectrometers Enhanced NIR Spectrometers

DETAIL

NIRNet near-infrared fiber optic spectrometer is a high-stability spectroscopic detection device equipped with a Gigabit Ethernet interface. The device adopts TEC cooling technology (down to -25°C). Its spectral range can be flexibly configured within 900–2500 nm, with a best resolution of 0.3 nm and stray light lower than 0.1%. It combines a compact structure with high stability while providing remote control, real-time data transmission, and multi-platform integration capabilities. It is widely suitable for demanding applications such as industrial online monitoring, laboratory automation, and distributed sensing networks.

  • Features

  • Spectral resolution up to 0.3 nm;
  • Covers the 900–2500 nm range, with stray light lower than 0.1%, featuring a wide dynamic range, high signal-to-noise ratio, and long-term stability.
  • Uses TEC cooling technology, with a minimum operating temperature down to -25°C, effectively suppressing dark current and achieving extremely low background noise (≤ 8 RMS).

1. CCD readout noise: RMS value of CCD readout noise at minimum integration time.
2. Spectral dynamic range: Calculated under minimum integration time as (Saturation value – Dark noise baseline) / Standard deviation of CCD readout noise. Evaluation method follows Oceanhood corporate standard.
3. Signal-to-noise ratio (SNR): Actual measured value according to Oceanhood’s internal evaluation standard.
4. Response linearity: Measured before calibration.

  • Typical applications

Pharmaceutical industry
Used for qualitative and quantitative analysis of organic solvents. It can rapidly and non-destructively detect solvent composition and impurity content such as moisture, ensuring solvent quality consistency during pharmaceutical production and meeting the stringent compliance requirements of the pharmaceutical industry.

Precise moisture content determination
By analyzing the characteristic absorption bands of water molecules, rapid and non-destructive detection of moisture content in solid and liquid samples can be achieved. It is widely used in quality control for industries such as food (grains, dairy products, snacks), tobacco, and coal.

Protein content analysis
Based on the characteristic near-infrared absorption of chemical bonds in proteins (such as N-H and C-H), rapid and non-destructive determination of protein content in samples such as grains and processed foods can be achieved. It is suitable for real-time process monitoring and quality control of large-volume samples.
