The detector of the spectrometer adopts the CMOS linear image sensor - Hamamatsu S11639 that features include high sensitivity and high resistance in the UV region. Thanks to its durable integrated circuit and compact design, the spectrometer can provide a better transmission speed and a stable wavelength. The spectrometer can also achieve stable Raman spectrum measurement from 0 ℃ to 40℃.
With compact size and superior capability, XS11639 series can be applied to optical spectroscopy research, such as absorbance, reflectance, Fluorescence spectrum and Raman spectrum. It can also be used for industrial equipment, such as smoke monitoring, water quality inspection, elemental analysis.

Performance testing: Response curve of Mercury-argon lamp
Test condition:
- Light source: HG-1-OH (Mercury argon discharge lamp)
- Optical fiber: 200μm; Integration time: 1ms
-
Performance testing: Response curve of Deuterium-tungsten lamp
- Light source: Deuterium tungsten lamp
- Optical fiber: 105μm; Integration time: 10ms
-
Performance testing: Spectral response stability
Test condition:
- As the above picture shows (the response curve of deuterium-tungsten lamp), the sharp emission peak is at about 313.18 nm. Therefore, the integration time was set to 10ms at a wavelength of 313.18 nm.
- Preheat for 10 mins, collect once at 2-minute intervals and repeat 100 times.
- Optical fiber: 105μm
Test result:
- Average value of test: 58757.72, fluctuating p-p value: 1093
- RMS: 0.36%
