An integrating sphere is one of the most versatile optical measurement devices used in optical testing. It can be integrated with spectrometers, optical fibers, light sources, and other optical instruments to form a complete measurement system for a wide range of applications, including sample reflectance, transmittance, absorbance, and light source characterization.
The IS-50-2 Integrating Sphere features a high-quality PTFE diffuse reflective coating, providing excellent Lambertian scattering characteristics across the 250–2500 nm spectral range, covering ultraviolet (UV), visible (VIS), and near-infrared (NIR) wavelengths. It is suitable for measuring the optical properties of materials, including reflectance, transmittance, and absorbance, as well as the radiometric characteristics of various light sources, such as spectral distribution, radiant flux, radiant intensity, and color temperature.
The integrating sphere is equipped with a standard SMA905 optical interface, with customized interface options available upon request.
For enhanced optical coupling performance, the optional COL-UV-10 Collimating Lens can be used with optical fibers to improve light collection efficiency and provide greater flexibility for spectroscopic measurement applications.
