Gino is an industrial-grade miniature spectrometer based on an Internet of Things (IoT) architecture. The spectrometer provides 2048 or 4096 spectral channels, with 16-bit A/D conversion, stray light lower than 0.1%, and dark noise lower than 30 RMS (100 ms integration time).
It integrates an embedded computing platform with a 766 MHz main processor, 1 GB DDR memory, and 16 GB Flash storage. The system is preinstalled with the Linux operating system and Uspectral-Gino spectral acquisition software.
The spectrometer is equipped with a Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 interface, HDMI interface, Micro-SD card interface, 15-pin external device interface, and three MMCX interfaces.
The spectrometer can operate independently or function as a slave sensor node. It can operate within an ambient temperature range of 0–40°C, with a spectral temperature drift of approximately 0.1 pixel/°C.
A high-speed configuration is optionally available. The maximum acquisition speed can reach 3000 frames per second, and the A/D quantization sampling and data transmission time is less than 500 µs (2048 channels).
Gino is an industrial-grade micro spectrometer designed for industrial environments and outdoor real-time measurement applications.
