New TCO Reagents for Fast Bioorthogonal Conjugation
Lumiprobe has recently expanded its bioconjugation reagent portfolio with a new range of cycloalkene-functionalized TCO (trans-Cyclooctene) reagents designed for bioorthogonal inverse electron-demand Diels–Alder (IEDDA) cycloaddition reactions.
TCO derivatives react rapidly and selectively with tetrazines without requiring a catalyst. These reagents are suitable for a variety of applications, including biomolecule conjugation, fluorescent labeling, antibody and protein conjugate preparation, live-cell studies, and in vivo applications.
The newly introduced fluorescent TCO derivatives include AF, Cyanine, sulfo-Cyanine, and BDP® dyes, providing a range of fluorescent options for different spectral and bioimaging applications.
