More and more applications are making use of wavelengths as low as 190nm, but fiber optic terminations are notoriously difficult in the deep UV. Solarization and UV stresses can lead to short lifespans, downtime and poor performance. Our Enhanced Solarization Resistant (ESR) fiber and proprietary termination techniques create the longest lasting, best performing Deep UV assembly in the industry. After exposure under deuterium lamp at 215nm, the transmission of our Deep UV fiber decreases by only 30%, and stablilizes after 40 hours.
